The state terms contract allows state agencies to procure and contract with entities that provide information technology consulting services for projects below $10,000,000. The state expects to gain the following benefits from establishing this contract:

• Achieve signficant savings through the pooling of aggregate buying power through
  annual spending on IT services
• Maintain or improve current levels of service
• Improve reporting/tracking capabilities
• Gain personnel for niche skills

The state expects to reach these objectives by receiving more favorable and consistent pricing structure and associated expenses enterprise-wide.
